Expert forecasters predict an active 2011 Atlantic storm season as total insurance losses for 2010 hurricanes remain below $500mn.

The US may have escaped the worst of the active 2010 hurricane season, but next year promises to be another active year for storms in the North Atlantic, according to Tropical Storm Risk (TSR).
