The markets in Asia Pacific have proved resilient in response to the recent global financial crisis and the outlook for 2010 and beyond is very promising, according to a recent report by rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P).

Fiscal stimulus packages and infrastructure projects will continue to benefit Asia Pacific economies, according to S&P. Most governments will "shift from crisis management to ongoing recovery management".

The rating agency also highlights the "locomotive role" that China plays in the region. China...
