Elliot Richardson, the recently installed executive director at independent broker RK Harrison (RKH), has hired David Cousar from rival Arthur J. Gallagher International, as the first stage in a wider strategy to build a significant facultative presence in the London market, Inside FAC can reveal.

Cousar, who is expected to join RKH when his notice period ends, is currently executive director of Gallagher London's international fac operation, Facultative & Specialty Property & Casualty.
