QBE adds GL fac cover to MENA offering

Specialist business insurer QBE has expanded underwriting capability in its Dubai branch to include general liability (GL) facultative reinsurance for its Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) clients.

QBE said property and GL underwriter Noufal Manzil will underwrite the class with the primary focus of developing a profitable book of SME business driven by public and product liability requirements.

Manzil has been with QBE's Dubai operation since May 2009, developing a local book of property and GL business.
