Papua New Guinea LNG plant resumes operations

ExxonMobil's $19bn liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Papua New Guinea has resumed operations after a major earthquake damaged the plant, the US energy giant has confirmed.

The plant had been shut for several weeks following a major earthquake close to the gas fields that supply it.
