Nat cat bill for 2010 rises to $38bn

Global natural catastrophic activity was far higher in 2010 than in the previous three years, with 314 separate events, according to Aon Benfield.

It has released its Annual Global Climate and Catastrophe Report, published by Impact Forecasting, which reviews the natural disaster perils that occurred worldwide during 2010.
