The onshore energy market is facing a possible $362mn hit as a result of a major fire and explosion at an one of South East Asia's largest industrial conglomerates, with the Lloyd's market looking to set to absorb some significant losses, Inside FAC understands.
The estimated losses relate to a major fire that broke out at Bangkok Synthetics' facility at Map Ta Phut in Thailand's Rayong province which killed at least 11 people and injured 141 more.
