A lot has changed in the three years since Inside FAC last explored the Iberian Peninsula.

It remains to be seen whether Britain's decision to leave the EU will have wide-ranging implications for cross-border insurance business, but European and international carriers aren't hanging about to find out.

Many have already set up subsidiaries within the EU or in passporting-enabled jurisdictions such as Luxembourg.

In Spain itself, the spectre of devolution has again raised its head, with the wealthy autonomous area...
