Regulator the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) swooped on the offices of five aviation brokers in London simultaneously in the first week of April, seizing computers as part of a probe into the misuse of confidential client information, Inside FAC has learned.
Aon, JLT, Marsh, UIB and Willis Towers Watson have been placed under investigation.
It is unclear at this stage if the FCA will take any enforcement action against any of the broking houses.
