Dual signs up Newline and raids Axis in D&O drive

Expansive agency Dual Corporate Risks (DCR) has signed up Newline Syndicate 1218 to provide £10mn of excess capacity for Directors' & Officers' (D&O) business, while simultaneously raiding Axis Capital to bolster its team.

Jeremy Isaacs, former Axis D&O underwriting manager, joins from Axis alongside his colleague and former D&O underwriter James Gill.

DCR, owned by UK intermediary group Hyperion, has also hired D&O specialist Oliver Leonard from sister broking firm Howden, as well as Rob Brooke, financial institutions professional indemnity...
