Property direct and facultative (D&F) is one of the worst performing classes at Lloyd's in terms of its recent claims record, according to an internal report seen by Inside FAC.
Lloyd's own analysis, up to date as of the third quarter of 2010, compares different classes according to the number of claims per million pound of net written premium and reveals that property D&F writers saw claims surge between 2005 and 2009 by some 33 per cent on this measure...
