Catlin leads on Willis-placed Pakistani jet crash

Catlin Group is the lead on the AirBlue passenger plane that crashed in heavy monsoon rain in Islamabad today (28 July), Inside Fac understands.

Broker Willis Group is understood to have placed the coverage for the private airliner, which was believed to be carrying 146 passengers and six crew members. According to sources, the hull value of the Airbus A321-200 is $35mn.

Reports suggest five injured people were recovered from the site, but at least 25 have been confirmed dead...
