Beazley looks to Paris for political risk

Beazley has become the latest Lloyd's player to look to the European market for direct and facultative (D&F) opportunities with the establishment of a new political risk team based in Paris.

The team will be led by political and credit risks underwriter Crispin Hodges, who is relocating from the company's Singapore office.

Hodges will be succeeded in Singapore by Ann Russell-Cook, a senior figure in the Asian political risk and structured trade credit market, who joins the firm on 2...
