Aon Benfield and Ascot offer Chile earthquake facility

Aon Benfield has teamed up with Ascot Underwriting to provide a new facility for Chile earthquake cover.

The facility operates through Aon Benfield's recently launched FAConnect placement platform.

Clients can now access up to $50mn cover for any one risk, to be provided by Ascot Underwriting in an exclusive agreement.

Ascot was the first market to bind a risk via FAConnect, and the new facility builds on Aon Benfield's partnership with the firm.
