Amlin leads $31mn Chinese air crash

Lloyd's (re)insurer Amlin leads the cover on the passenger plane that crashed in the Heilongjiang province of China on Tuesday with 96 people on board, killing 42.

The programme is understood to be jointly brokered by Marsh and Willis, with the two brokers taking responsibility for the placement in alternating years.

The Chinese aircraft, which is operated by Henan Airlines, came down near Yichun City's Lindu airport.
