Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty opens in Madrid

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), Allianz Group's large corporate risks division, has continued its geographic expansion with the opening of an office in Madrid.

AGCS is taking over the respective portfolio from Allianz's local unit, Allianz Compañía de Seguros y Reaseguros,(Allianz Seguros).

This new AGCS branch opened on 1 September with a team of 52 staff led by Agustin Martin. It plans to write over EUR120mn in total premiums in 2010, and will work in close cooperation with Allianz...
