How did we miss this? We're all for a bit of diversification down the fac alley.
In April 2017, Scor Auber, a fully-owned subsidiary of Scor, exercised an option to acquire an 80 percent stake in a rather splendid claret, Château Troplong Mondot (Premier Grand Cru Classé B of Saint Emilion, for those who are interested), for a snip at EUR178mn. Apparently the Gallic maestro has held a 20 percent stake in the wine since 2014.
