Working up a Swett
As Inside FAC went to press the merger between London independent broker Cooper Gay and US wholesaler Swett & Crawford was about to be signed, sealed and delivered.
The move is being viewed as a probable precursor to an initial public offering - which would realise an ambition that many in the market had been speculating was on the cards at Cooper Gay for some time.
