Moscow Metro crash to have limited impact
The terrorist attacks on the Moscow Metro are unlikely to have a significant financial impact for underwriters.
Some 39 people were killed as a result of two separate explosions in the Lubyanka and Park Kultury Metro stations during peak commuter time on the morning of 29 March.
According to sources, State-owned Moscow Metro purchases insurance directly with local insurer Spasskie Vorota.
However, it is understood that the company did not insure terrorism risks...
