$145mn UPS crash could turn aviation market

The loss of the UPS cargo Flight 6 on 3 September in Dubai could be the event that finally turns the aviation market, a leading aviation underwriter has told Inside FAC.

The crash, which killed the two pilots, happened shortly after take-off near Dubai International Airport as the Boeing 747-400 was flying en route to Cologne in Germany. It is likely to be the costliest aviation crash of the year to date.
